These annual events include South Carolina Oyster Festival, Capital City Music and Wing Fling, First Flush Festival at The Tea Plantation in Charleston, and the Rosewood Crawfish Festival. DESCRIPTION:
The South Carolina Oyster Festival is Columbia’s largest outdoor oyster roast featuring more than 10,000 pounds of fresh steamed and fried oysters for sale by the serving from PEARLZ Oyster Bar. The family-friendly event features childrens’ activities, live music all day on two stages, arts and crafts vendors food, and drinks. Tours of the historic house museums will be available from noon until 2:00 p.m. for only $2.00.

Children 12 and under are free. Admission price does not include food and beverages. There will be a small charge for children's rides.
FAQ: Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and strollers. Bring your own gloves and oyster shuckers or they will be available for purchase at the festival.
